  • Complete account and bank reconciliations, investigate variances, and follow through on corrective actions.

  • Contribute to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close tasks, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and balance sheet support.

  • Partner with operations-focused teams to confirm that transportation, freight, and related service costs are captured correctly in the financial records.

  • Review vendor, contractor, and customer transactions to ensure expenses and revenue are recorded in the proper accounting period.

  • Prepare schedules, documentation, and financial analysis used for internal reporting, planning, and leadership review.

  • Research inconsistencies between source documents, operational records, and accounting data, then work with internal stakeholders to resolve them.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not a must.

  • Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end close activities.

  • Familiarity with accounting principles and the ability to apply proper account coding and financial documentation standards.

  • Experience using Excel and other Microsoft Office applications in an accounting environment.
