Collections / Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a Collections / Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage outstanding balances, process payments, and maintain accurate customer accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Contact customers by phone and email to collect past-due payments.

• Review AR aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices.

• Post and apply payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.

• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies, deductions, and short payments.

• Send invoices, account statements, and payment reminders.

• Maintain accurate collection notes and payment records in the ERP system.

• Coordinate with sales and accounting teams to resolve disputes.

• Assist with month-end close and accounts receivable reporting.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of collections and accounts receivable experience.

• Experience using ERP or accounting systems.

• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and lookup functions.

• Strong communication, customer service, and negotiation skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of accounts.
