Production Supervisor

Location: Louisville, KY

Pay: $37.94+ per hour

Are you an experienced manufacturing supervisor looking for a high-impact leadership opportunity? We are seeking a Temporary Production Supervisor to lead hourly production and logistics teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for professionals with strong leadership, problem-solving, and team development skills who thrive in a safety-focused workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support hourly production employees to achieve daily safety, quality, and productivity goals.

Coordinate workflow and staffing to ensure efficient manufacturing operations.

Coach team members on standardized work processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Monitor production performance and drive operational excellence through proactive problem-solving.

Build positive working relationships with employees, labor representatives, and management.

Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with workplace policies and procedures.

Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and promote a culture of accountability and teamwork.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, production, material planning, or logistics environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

Experience working in a union environment is a plus.
