Job Description
Under direct supervision of project manager, assist in design of test plans, scenarios, scripts and procedures. Assist in developing and executing software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes. Test system modifications to prepare for implementation. Assist in developing testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests or usability. Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to other developers. Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content. Assist in planning test schedule or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates. Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness or to mitigate risks. Experience must include the following: Java, J2EE, Selenium, Cucumber, JIRA, SOAPUI, Quality Center, Oracle, VBScript, Postman.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or a foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, Business Administration, Engineering (Any) or related with 1 year of relevant IT experience as a Computer/Engineering Professional or related. In lieu of the above, will also accept an Associate’s degree or a foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, Business Administration, Engineering (Any) or related with 2 years of relevant IT experience as a Computer/Engineering Professional or related. Any suitable combination of education, training & experience is acceptable. Must be willing to work anywhere in the U.S. Job locations in Iselin, NJ & may involve relocation to various unanticipated client sites across the U.S.
