Job Description

Insight Global is looking for Engineering Technicians for a large engineering consulting firm in Augusta, GA. The ideal candidate will be able to perform soil and concrete testing at a large construction site. They will report to a Lead Technician with their findings and communicate with other engineering technicians throughout their day-to-day. They will report to the office to pick up a company truck, receive a checklist from the lead, report to the site, and perform soil and/or concrete testing for the clients. Once all work is completed, they will report back to the lead technician. Then will then load up all of concrete/soil samples, report back to the office, and then give a digital report of all findings.

Skills and Requirements

  • 6 months+ of experience testing/sampling concrete OR relevant industry degree (civil engineering technology, civil engineering, construction management, etc)
  • High School Diploma OR GED
  • Clean background and motor vehicle report
  • Comfortable with drug screening
  • Good communication and computer/reporting skills ACI certification ICC certifications (soil/concrete/masonry) Earthwork certification/DOT certifications
