Practice Supervisor I

Louisville Cardiology

Full Time

In conjunction with the Practice Manager, the Practice Supervisor I is responsible for day-to-dayoperations of a secondary BHMG site geographically separated on a different campus. This positionwill manage a separate staff and share providers with the main campus. This position will requiredaily interaction with the practice physician(s) and other physicians within BHMG and the community.

Supervises clerical and clinical staff to ensure quality medical office standards. This position is alsoresponsible for close coordination with management staff as well as staffing, scheduling, cliniccompliance, inventory, institutional processes, and maintaining routine safety procedures.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Patient Access

Referral Management

Collects and analyzes internal and external data relating to services and opportunities within the business

community.

Effectively interacts with referral sources and other healthcare providers in a customer focused manner

Call Processing Management

Patient Intake Management

Clinical Experience Management

Coordination of Care Management

Culture of Courtesy & Professionalism

Process Improvement, Standardization and Practice Efficiencies

Rx Process Management

Patient Satisfaction and follow up

Provides day-to-day supervision of BHMG practice staff and programs including, employee relations (e.g.

hiring, disciplinary actions, etc.), staff schedules, annual competency evaluations and new hire training

and onboarding.

Facilitates regular staff meetings to maintain open communication.

Responsible for full day-to-day practice operations at a secondary site.

Acts as a backup in the office to cover vacancies

Practice Performance Management

Payroll Management

Responsible for ordering/ purchasing/ stocking of all patient/clinical supplies.

Assists with the development and maintenance of patient charts, including documentation and otherpertinent patient information.

Collaborates and consults with Manager on services, vendor agreements and issues as needed.

Provider Engagement

Quality & Compliance

Minimum Education, Experience and Licensures Required:

Associate's degree

Minimum of 5 years of experience related to job description, or a minimum of five years' experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program with current CMA certification from AAMA, AMT, NCCT, AAMP, NAHP preferred

Healthcare supervisory experience preferred
