Software Engineer (Java Web Services) (SAB-2610-09)

Support mission-critical web service development for an identity, credential, and access management solution. You will help design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain highly available, enterprise-level services that return attributes and access decisions, integrate with a commercial LDAP directory, and work with other microservices and libraries. What you will do: - Design and develop Java web services for an enterprise identity and access management solution - Integrate services with an LDAP directory and with other microservices and libraries - Test services and support their operational maintenance - Build services that support attribute-based access control by returning attributes and access decisions Required qualifications: - Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph (U.S. citizenship required). - Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of software engineering experience. Without a degree, 9 years of software engineering experience. - At least 2 years of that experience in the SIGINT, information assurance, or IT domains. Preferred qualifications: - High level of proficiency in Java software development - Experience building and maintaining REST services - Git version control and Maven build tools - Familiarity with Linux environments - Skill at building robust, scalable, secure, high-performance applications - Unit testing with JUnit and mock testing frameworks - Automated builds with GitLab CI/CD pipelines - PKI encryption and authentication - Docker and Kubernetes Location: Fully on-site at a government or contractor facility in the Fort Meade, MD area. No telework. Schedule: Full-time, W-2 Sabre Engineering employee. 40 hours a week, normal day shift. Salary range: $120,000 to $150,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
