Interior Designer (3-5 years)

We are seeking an Interior Designer with experience in commercial interiors, tenant improvements, and space planning to join a collaborative and fast-paced team supporting a growing portfolio of office and commercial properties. This individual will play a key role in designing functional, attractive spaces while coordinating directly with tenants, brokers, construction teams, and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is passionate about design, highly organized, comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, and experienced in producing construction documents and space plans using Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with prospective and existing clients to understand space requirements and project objectives

  • Develop space plans and conceptual layouts that align with client needs and building requirements

  • Prepare pricing drawings and preliminary design packages for construction estimating

  • Produce complete construction and permitting documents

  • Create floor plans, tenant improvement drawings, and project documentation

  • Coordinate project activities with contractors, consultants, vendors, tenants, and brokers

  • Assist clients with finish selections and design decisions

  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and accessibility requirements

  • Support multiple active projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

  • Collaborate closely with leasing, construction, property management, and development teams throughout the project lifecycle

  • Participate in design revisions, space modifications, and new development initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Architecture

  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial interior design, tenant improvements, architecture, or commercial space planning

  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD

  • Experience preparing construction documents and permit sets

  • Knowledge of commercial building and accessibility codes

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate across departments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with office tenant improvement (TI) projects

  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or Adobe Creative Suite

  • Experience working directly with tenants, brokers, and construction teams

  • Understanding of commercial real estate, development, or property management environments

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
