Summary
You will serve as a CONTINUOUS PROCESS IMPROVEMENT SPECIALIST in the MRO PRODUCTION DEPT of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Duties
- You will oversee continuous process improvement projects to ensure successful execution and implementation.
- You will Identify areas requiring improvement and develop recommendations for improvement to the process and procedures.
- You will provide project status reports as required which may include briefings to internal and external customers as well as all levels of management.
- You will assure the appropriate customers are identified, the customer’s requirement are well defined, and the problem is also defined in term of a metric that accurately reflects the results of a positive change.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Green Belt training or equivalent documented process improvement training/experience. Demonstrated experience performing process improvement initiatives. Understand aircraft and/or component maintenance flow, including how various trades and support shops impact the end product. Good working knowledge and proficiency with standard computer systems and software. Ability to clearly and effectively communicate process improvements/solutions and present structured solutions to management and leadership. Demonstrate working knowledge of 5S methodologies and their practical application..
