Job Description Position Summary * We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data and Analytics Intern. This internship offers exposure to various facets of operations management and provides an opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and possesses strong problem-solving skills. Responsibilities * Build data structure and data lake intake method to support future analytics tools use at a growing Fortune 500 company * Collaborate with team members to identify inefficiencies in operational processes and propose solutions for improvement * Collect, analyze, and present data related to key performance indictors (KPIs) and operational metrics. Prepare reports to track progress and identify trends * Maintain accurate records and documentation related to operational processes, procedures, and compliance requirements. Qualifications * Currently enrolled in a degree program in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field * Proficiency in Python, including experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, or similar data manipulation tools * Foundational understanding of SQL and relational database concepts * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail * Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision Qualifications (Preferred) * Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, or similar data pipeline tools * Experience with Microsoft Excel at an intermediate to advanced level (data validation, structured tables, named ranges, or form design) * Exposure to data intake or form-based data collection workflows * Basic understanding of data governance concepts (data quality, documentation, lineage) * Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, Sharepoint, PowerBI (DAX , Power Query) or other Microsoft 365 tools * Smartsheet * Data Pipeline development (ETL/ELT) * Comfort working in a collaborative environment with cross-functional stakeholders About Us The successful candidate will embrace Vertiv's Core Principles & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.
