High School Diploma or GED required. 2. Ability to read measurements, shop instructions, work orders, and fabrication drawings. 3. Basic math and measurement skills required. Experience Requirements 1. Minimum of 1 year of related manufacturing, construction, fabrication, assembly, or mechanical experience preferred. 2. Experience working with hand tools, power tools, or production equipment is beneficial. 3. Previous sheet metal fabrication experience is a plus but not required. Preferred Qualifications 1. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. 2. Ability to accurately read and follow work instructions and blueprints. 3. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy. 4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 5. Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Physical Capabilities 1. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday. 2. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment. 3. Ability to handle sheet metal materials and completed duct components. 4. Ability to work in a manufacturing or shop environment while following safety procedures. Job Duties 1. Fabricate residential HVAC ductwork for new construction projects using work orders, layouts, and blueprints. 2. Measure, cut, bend, shape, and assemble sheet metal components to specification. 3. Operate equipment including hammers, air hammers, metal snips, shears, manual bending machines, impact drills, and other fabrication tools. 4. Apply sealants and adhesives to ensure proper assembly and air-tight ductwork. 5. Cut and install insulation on duct systems using internal and external wrapping methods. 6. Inspect completed products to verify quality, accuracy, and compliance with production standards. 7. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. 8.
