Mental Health Tech Behavioral Health

7a-7p Part Time. 2 days per week, every third weekend, rotating holidays

Where You'll Be:Baptist Health LaGrange is adding a brand new 11-bed inpatient behavioral health unit. Our focus will be providing care for adults 18 and older who require hospitalization for behavioral health needs in a safe and structured environment. The unit utilizes an interdisciplinary team approach to provide care for patients. Team is made up of registered nurses, mental health technicians, social workers, recreational therapist, and psychiatrist.

What You'll Do:Assists with routine patient care as delegated by nursing staffAssists in obtaining patient histories, takes vital signs, I & O and documents

Complete safety rounds for patients and unit as delegated/assigned

Maintains clean and tidy patient room/environmentResponds to requests for service and assistance in a positive mannerAdvocate for patient
