The Associate Director, HCP Peer-to-Peer Marketing, Rare Renal will partner closely with the Director of Commercial Scientific Communications, and report to the Senior Director, Marketing as an integral member of the launch team to support the company mission of defying limitation, so that others can too. This position has been designed for a marketer who will take on the responsibility of executing strategic and tactical launch initiatives in the peer-to-peer education content and execution space.

This role will create meaningful impact for patients, HCPs and other critical players in the nephrology/immunology and rare disease arena. It requires strong cross-functional collaboration and communication to ensure successful execution in support of strategies fueling a new product launch.

Job Description

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Work with the Director, Commercial Scientific Communications to support the development of the annual peer-to-peer marketing strategy and engagement plan as well as national/regional congress strategy for the brand, inclusive of booth presence, product theaters, and executive KOL encounters

  • Support peer-to-peer content development such as broadcasts, webinars, and digital initiatives.

  • Collaborate with Thought Leader Liaison team to capture field and KOL insights and translate key insights into meaningful peer-to-peer programs.

  • Support Director with end-to-end speaker bureau management in close partnership with medical, legal, regulatory, and compliance.

  • Plan and execute KOL programs (e.g., advisory boards, steering committees, etc.) focused on insight generation to inform content development. This includes defining objectives, developing discussion guides, identifying and engaging participants in partnership with TLLs, and timely readouts of key insights and strategic implications to inform brand strategy and/or competitive positioning.

  • Support development of Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) marketing content strategy inclusive of development of key resources, training, and field insight synthesis in partnership with brand leads and TLL National Director

  • Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Medical Affairs, Sales Leadership, Market Access, and Global Commercial teams to ensure strategic alignment.

  • Own budget, project management inclusive of on-time delivery and execution in full compliance and with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5-8 years of commercial experience in the US pharmaceutical industry, with expertise in HCP marketing, new product launches, sales, access, and market analysis.

  • Prior experience in rare disease or kidney disease commercialization

  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies

  • Strong communication, presentation, and business partnering abilities

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex business issues, adapt to market dynamics, and establish appropriate priorities to execute on

Preferred

  • Depth of experience in the Peer-to-Peer space and KOL engagement strategies

  • Successful track record of launching brands or indications.

  • Experience in highly competitive therapeutic areas.

Minimum $169,222.00 - Maximum $253,000.00, plus incentive opportunity: The range shown represents a typical pay range or starting pay for individuals who are hired in the role to perform in the United States. Other elements may be used to determine actual pay such as the candidate’s job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in role. Typically, actual pay will be positioned within the established range, rather than at its minimum or maximum. This information is provided to applicants in accordance with states and local laws.
