MACHINE OPERATORS REQUIRED IN MIRA MESA

$20.75/hr - Mira Mesa - 1st Shift

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up and operate saw equipment, perform dimensional inspections, and ensure materials are processed accurately to specification. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with machine operation experience who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate band saws and cutting equipment to process metal rods and components.

• Load materials and perform machine setup following safety and quality procedures.

• Conduct dimensional inspections using calipers and measurement tools.

• Read and interpret manufacturing drawings and blueprints.

• Record measurements and inspection results accurately.

• Perform manual production tasks and support daily manufacturing operations.

• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Experience operating saws, band saws, or similar manufacturing equipment.

• Minimum 1 year of experience using calipers for dimensional inspection.

• Ability to read basic manufacturing drawings and blueprints.

• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.

• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.75 - $20.75/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
