Full job description

Opportunity time frame:

Starting date would be as soon as possible. Clinical interns would be expected to intern 16 hours (BSW) per week. Internships are typically served for the academic year. Spring and summer internships will be considered. Internships should be completed during day time hours (8:30am - 4:30pm) during the work week.

Eligibility requirements:

Be a current BSW student at an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. Have an interest in community-base mental health care for individuals experiencing mental health challenges.

Learning model:

Individual and group supervision model from clinical director weekly. Other modalities includes self-reflection, self-evaluation, and process recordings.

Student expectations:

Student expectations include self-directed learning; independently seeking learning opportunities and feedback, flexible thinking and adaptability. Readiness to learn from all experiences. Patience and compassion when working with this challenging patient population.
