The Licensed Psychologist Manager, Corrections role at the State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Mahanoy with the Department of Corrections gives you the chance to guide a dedicated team of professionals. DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position manages the psychological services program at SCI Mahanoy and supports daily clinical work across the facility. It includes supervising staff, guiding treatment decisions, and coordinating important mental health procedures. As a Licensed Psychologist Manager, Corrections, you will perform the following duties: 1. Staff Supervision: Oversee psychological staff, assign duties, and review the quality of evaluations, treatment, and referrals 2. Program Leadership: Develop services, guide policy improvements, and support counseling programs that help with adjustment and daily functioning 3. Committee Guidance: Lead review teams and committees that address risk, crisis response, and clinical decision making 4. Clinical Oversight: Review assessments, guide treatment planning, and provide consultation to staff who work with inmates 5. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. 3. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: 1. One year as a Licensed Psychologist MH or Psychologist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or 2. One year of experience as a licensed professional psychologist in the treatment of inmates or individuals with mental illness, intellectual disabilities or behavioral dysfunction. Special Requirements: 1. You must be in possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology or possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by another state with licensure requirements acceptable to the Board. Applicants with out-of-state licensure must obtain Pennsylvania licensure within one year of employment. Other Requirements: 1. PA residency requirementis currently waived for this title. 2.
