Robert Half is partnering with a leading financial institution seeking a Senior Commercial Contracts Attorney to help tackle a high-volume backlog of critical agreements impacting multiple business units. If you have extensive experience negotiating complex commercial and technology contracts and enjoy working directly with business stakeholders, this could be the perfect next contract opportunity.

📍 Location: Fort Lee, NJ (Onsite Preferred | Work from Home Fridays) Open to remote

💰 Pay: $70-$80/hour

⏳ Duration: 3-6 Month Contract (Strong Potential for Extension)

🕘 Schedule: Standard Business Hours (Approx. 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

What You'll Be Doing

✅ Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements

✅ Managing technology-related contracts, including:

• SaaS Agreements

• Software Licensing Agreements

• Technology Services Agreements

• Vendor Contracts

✅ Providing legal guidance to key business partners across:

• Information Technology

• Human Resources

• Compliance

• Risk Management

• Corporate Operations

✅ Identifying legal and regulatory risks while offering practical business-focused solutions

✅ Conducting legal research and advising stakeholders on contract-related matters

✅ Independently managing a busy workload and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

What We're Looking For

✔️ Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

✔️ Active Bar admission in New Jersey or Delaware

✔️ 6+ years of attorney experience, preferably within:

• Banking

• Financial Services

• FinTech

• Other highly regulated industries

✔️ Significant experience drafting, negotiating, and reviewing complex commercial contracts

✔️ Strong background supporting technology transactions and SaaS agreements

✔️ Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

✔️ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Experience

⭐ Banking and financial services industry exposure

⭐ Regulatory compliance and risk management experience

⭐ Corporate governance and transactional support

⭐ Experience with emerging technologies, AI-related agreements, or technology advisory work
