• Assesses and diagnoses patient and family needs to provide quality care.
• Develops and communicates a plan of care for each patient in collaboration with the patient, family, and significant others. Implements medical plans of care, nursing interventions, and procedures using necessary skills and judgment.
• Evaluates identified problems, care provided, and patient responses to ensure overall quality of care.
• Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided.
• Pursues professional growth and development, maintaining current knowledge, certification, and licensure per hospital policy. Serves as a role model for current and new staff.
• Attends required safety training programs and understands responsibilities related to general and specific job-related safety, including following Hospital Exposure Control Plans for Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens.
• Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees.
• Promotes effective working relations and works as part of a team to meet departmental goals and objectives.

Education:

• Associates of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor of Nursing [Preferred]

Field of Study:

• Nursing

Work Experience:

• 1+ years related experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
• Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) [Preferred]
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) [Preferred]
• Hip and Knee Replacement (HKR) [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$32.48 - $56.84 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
