Description

We are looking for an experienced AGRIS ERP UAT/BA Consultant to support a long-term contract engagement in Des Moines, Iowa. This role combines business analysis, user acceptance testing leadership, and advisory support to help ensure ERP functionality aligns with operational needs in an agricultural business environment. The consultant will work closely with stakeholders, project teams, and implementation partners to drive testing readiness, clarify requirements, and promote successful user adoption.

This can be a fully remote role!

Responsibilities:

  • Direct user acceptance testing activities for the ERP program, ensuring business scenarios are properly validated before release milestones.

  • Design, refine, and carry out detailed test scripts and supporting documentation that reflect real-world operational workflows.

  • Assess test coverage, document defects, highlight risks, and recommend practical improvements to strengthen solution quality.

  • Work with business teams and implementation partners to confirm system behavior, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolution efforts.

  • Provide functional business analysis support by translating stakeholder needs into clear requirements and actionable feedback for the project team.

  • Advise leaders and end users on platform capabilities, process considerations, and best practices drawn from prior implementation experience.

  • Contribute to planning sessions, project discussions, and cross-functional coordination to align operational objectives with technical delivery.

  • Support go-live preparation through final validation activities, issue tracking, and readiness reviews.

  • Assist change management and user adoption efforts by helping teams adjust to updated processes and new system functionality.

Requirements • 7+ years of experience in business analysis, quality assurance, or ERP consulting roles, including significant User Acceptance Testing involvement.

  • Hands-on experience with AGRIS ERP or closely related agronomy, agribusiness, or agriculture-focused software platforms.

  • Strong ability to create, organize, and execute comprehensive test scripts for complex business processes.

  • Background supporting ERP or software implementation projects, with the ability to serve as both a business analyst and testing lead.

  • Experience advising stakeholders during implementation initiatives and communicating effectively across business and technical teams.

  • Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of deliverables, and operate successfully with limited supervision.

  • Familiarity with agricultural operations, agronomy, grain, crop input, cooperative, or broader agribusiness environments is highly valued.

  • Knowledge of business requirements documentation, configuration management, client-side scripting, APIs, and project coordination is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
