Supply Chain Analyst

IDR is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Bay Shore, NY. This role is based in a manufacturing plant environment where the supply chain team is undergoing a significant ERP migration from NDS to SAP. The position offers a chance to support critical operations during a transformative period for the organization. Position Overview for the Supply Chain Analyst: * Responsible for procuring materials, planning production activities, and analyzing supply chain data to support efficient, cost-effective operations. * Balances supply and demand, ensures material availability, and optimizes inventory levels. * Creates, manages, and monitors purchase orders based on production plans, forecasts, and inventory policies. * Collaborates with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and logistics teams to resolve scheduling or material constraints. * Develops reports and dashboards to analyze demand, supply, inventory, and production data, providing actionable insights. Requirements for the Supply Chain Analyst: * 3+ years of experience in buying, production planning, or supply chain analysis * Strong working knowledge of large, complex ERP/MRP systems and demand planning concepts (SAP is a huge plus) * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (analysis, reporting, pivot tables) * Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field preferred * Highly Preferred: Manufacturing industry experience What's in it for you? * Competitive compensation package * Full Benefits; Medical, Vision, Dental, and more! * Opportunity to get in with an industry leading organization.
