Director, Debt Capital Markets

Description First Merchants Bank is seeking a Director, Debt Capital Markets to join our team! This position will partner with the Managing Director, Debt Capital Markets to support and implement the growth strategies to facilitate the distribution of syndicated credit facilities, establish and grow key relationships with partner banks, and acquire/manage a portfolio of syndicated loans. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Position Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, economics, finance, marketing, mathematics or a related field. - A minimum of seven (7) years of relationship management, capital markets, or related experiences in the financial services industry. Preferred Requirements: - Master's degree in business administration - Previous experience with Syndicated Credit Facilities including loan documentation for commercial and real estate companies is a plus.
