Job Summary LNA – Full Time/36 Hours – Nights | Vascular/Thoracic Sign-On Bonus: $750 Pay Range: $19.47 – $31.09 per hour; Pay is based on experience.

Summary Working under the direction of licensed personnel, the Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) provides support with patients’ activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and mobility. The LNA also obtains and records vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.

Essential Functions

  • Accurately obtains and records vital signs, weights, heights, intake, and output within established timeframes and as requested.
  • Completes all required documentation in the medical record accurately and timely.
  • Communicates and interacts effectively with patients and their families.
  • Assists patients with basic hygiene and activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
  • Assists patients with turning and repositioning in bed as needed.
  • Assists patients with safe transfers between the bed and wheelchair or other mobility devices.
  • Listens to patients’ health concerns and promptly reports concerns or changes in condition to the nursing staff.

Education High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

Licenses and Credentials Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred Certified Medical Assistant [National Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic [Massachusetts] - Massachusetts Office of Emergency Medical Services preferred Nursing Assistant [LNA - New Hampshire] - New Hampshire Board of Nursing preferred

Experience Experience working in patient care/elder care 1-2 years preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Strong patient/customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
