Schedule: Full time Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 515 Carlton St City: Wauchula State: Florida Postal Code: 33873 Job Description:
Assists providers with administrative needs and patient care coordination. Provides coverage for front office duties and responsibilities, ensuring smooth operations. Manages insurance verification and authorization processes for patients. Orders and maintains office supplies, ensuring proper storage and utilization. Monitors and verifies patient reports for timely disbursement to pertinent areas. Facilitates communication with referring and consulted physicians regarding patient care. Participates in department orientation and training of new personnel in clerical areas. Resolves customer service issues efficiently, maintaining courteous interactions with all stakeholders. Demonstrates effective communication skills with staff, patients and families. Collaborates with other departments to schedule patients requiring treatments or procedures. Maintains compliance with hospital guidelines and regulatory requirements. Other duties as assigned. Coordinates appointments and schedules patients for consultations and treatments.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Possesses clerical skills including business office equipment and familiarity with computers. [Required]

Ability to quickly learn and follow departmental policies and procedures. [Required]

Possess basic customer service skills; putting patients first and being concerned about their welfare and the patients imaging experience. [Required]

Ability to learn and use Radiation Therapy software packages such as ARIA. [Required]

Ability to learn hospital EMR system such as Cerner [Required]

Knowledge of Medical terminology [Preferred]

Associate [Preferred]

High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

- 2+ experience with office management/supervision, preferably in a medical setting [Required]
