The Sales Operations Analyst plays a key role within Emerson’s global Professional Tools business, partnering with teams across Sales, Product Management, IT, Finance, and Supply Chain to support data-driven decision-making. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about business intelligence, market analysis, and continuous improvement. By analyzing demand patterns, economic indicators, and sales trends, you will help deliver actionable insights that support strategic planning, forecasting accuracy, and business growth.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Develop and deliver sales planning analyses, forecasts, and reports that identify demand patterns, market trends, and actionable insights to support business decision-making.

Leverage business intelligence tools, including Domo, and statistical analysis techniques to evaluate business performance, monitor economic indicators, and predict future demand.

Partner with Sales, Product Management, Finance, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to develop detailed product, market, and distributor forecasts.

Support the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process by contributing data-driven recommendations that help deliver an aligned and accurate sales plan.

Prepare presentations, dashboards, and reports for leadership using data visualization and storytelling techniques to communicate key insights effectively.

Participate in planning initiatives, business improvement projects, and process optimization efforts that enhance forecasting accuracy and organizational effectiveness.

Support strategic planning and recurring business activities, including long-term sales projections, backlog analysis, intercompany sales projections, and sales plan development.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

One (1) or more years of relevant professional experience (intern/co-op experience will be considered).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information and insights to management.

Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

Experience using business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Domo, Power BI, or similar platforms.

Master of Business Administration (MBA).
