Asset Management Specialist
Location: Frankfort, Kentucky (Onsite)

Role Overview
An opportunity is available for a motivated candidate for an entry-level Asset Management position. This role is responsible for assisting with the full lifecycle of technology assets, including inventory management, documentation, and logistical coordination. A key function of the position involves traveling across the Commonwealth of Kentucky to pick up, transport, and help process electronic e‑scrap items from various partner agencies and distribution points.
Key Responsibilities
Support asset lifecycle tracking and documentation.
Travel statewide to coordinate and collect electronic e‑scrap items.
Assist with organizing, staging, and processing surplus and scrap equipment.
Provide logistical support for incoming and outgoing hardware.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with operational procedures.
Collaborate with the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) team in daily operations.
Preferred Qualifications
Organizational and logistical skills.
Communication abilities.
Basic understanding of IT hardware and peripheral components.
Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
Valid driver’s license.
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word.
Comfort operating larger vehicles (e.g., box truck).
Forklift certification is preferred but not required.
Work Environment
This is an on-site role that involves hands-on work with physical inventory, technology hardware, and statewide e‑scrap operations. The position offers an opportunity to gain experience in IT asset management, logistics, and statewide operational support.
