Full job description
About Us Rho is the modern banking platform built for the AI era. Startups and growth-stage companies can open accounts in minutes, issue cards, manage expenses, pay bills, and close the books – all in one connected platform backed by real human support.
The Role Our Product Managers operate like owners of their surface. The APM role is how we develop the next ones. You join a senior PM's team and own a defined part of a banking product. You ship to real customers in your first quarter. You get real scope, a direct mentor, and honest feedback every week. The goal: in 18 months, you own a surface as a full PM. In banking, every interaction carries trust. Money moves, cards get declined, payments settle or fail. You learn how a regulated financial product works from the inside, and you learn to build products that customers trust with their money. What You'll Do Own a feature area end to end. Your mentor gives you a defined part of the product. You own it from the problem to the result. Frame the problem, write the spec, ship it, and measure what changed. When the data shows a better direction, bring a recommendation, not only the data. Build with Design and Engineering every day. Sit with your designer and engineers from the first sketch to the launch. Write specs that engineers want to read. Give clear feedback on flows and edge cases, because in banking an edge case is a customer's money. Unblock the team fast, and run launches end to end. In a regulated product, this also means that you bring Compliance and Operations in early, so they do not block the launch late. Get close to customers. Talk to founders and finance teams every week. Read support tickets. Learn how early-stage companies think about cash, spend, and risk, and bring that knowledge back to the team. Decide with data. Define success before you build. Pull your own data. Report clearly what worked and what did not. Build with AI. Use frontier models to test ideas, build prototypes, analyze customer feedback, and draft specs. We expect AI to make you faster, and we expect you to find new ways to use it for our customers. What You Get
-
A named senior PM as your mentor, and a defined scope from your first week.
-
Weekly 1:1s and structured reviews at 6 and 12 months.
-
Direct exposure to product reviews with leadership.
-
A clear path to Product Manager.
Who You Are
-
You have 1 – 3 years of experience in product, engineering, data, consulting, banking, at a startup, or in a customer facing role. Or you started something of your own.
-
You are analytical. You are comfortable with SQL, spreadsheets, and numbers, and you check your own work.
-
You are curious about how money moves. Knowledge of ACH, card networks, KYC/KYB, or reconciliation is a plus. We teach the rest.
-
You use AI every day, and you can show us something you built with it.
-
You write clearly. You can explain a complex problem in one page.
-
You take feedback well and act on it fast.
-
You take ownership. When something is broken, you fix it or you find the person who can.
