JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary:
This position is onsite at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii (Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam), requires a CAC, and a favorable Tier 1/NACI-SF85 background investigation.
Develops defensible cost estimates and programming documentation for Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) and Military Construction (MILCON) projects. Supports financial feasibility, project justification, and investment planning for installation infrastructure requirements.
Responsibilities:
-
Administer CES information systems; monitor network, hardware, and software operations; manage user permissions and accounts; and coordinate troubleshooting with the installation Communications Squadron and other entities as required.

Install and troubleshoot NexGen IT, BUILDER, PAVER, and other commercial or Government-developed applications and systems. Serve as Functional Systems Administrator (FSA) and Client Support Administrator (CSA) for NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and customer automated-information-system support functions, with support from the installation Communications Squadron/Network Control Center.

Manage the lifecycle of CES computer systems and software, including replacement-cost analysis, acquisition-documentation review, annual hardware inventories, and commercial software-license inventories and audits. Perform the commander-appointed Automated Data Processing Equipment Custodian role and follow Equipment Control Officer directives.

Manage the CES information-systems security program as Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), including required training, scans, virus protection and patches, vulnerability and incident reporting, and applicable COMSEC and EMSEC requirements.

Serve as Information Assurance Manager for installation Industrial Control Systems (ICS). Manage access privileges and system configurations, support certification and accreditation requirements, update approved Enterprise Information Technology Data Repository entries, and provide required compliance reports.

Act as a project liaison with mission partners, community leaders, and other design agencies. Assist with sharing project and program information and maintaining internal SharePoint repositories. The liaison duty appears in the Data Management section; the SharePoint and information-sharing duties appear in the PWS’s general current-environment requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
-
Minimum five years of data-management experience.
-
Minimum three years of military facility or infrastructure experience.
-
Performs other duties as may be assigned.
-
This position requires a Common Access Card (CAC), the ability to pass the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) clearance to acquire a Common Access Card (CAC).
-
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; may occasionally require standing or moving about the office for extended periods.

Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience as an Air Force Functional Systems Administrator, Client Support Administrator, Information Systems Security Officer, Information Assurance Manager, or Automated Data Processing Equipment Custodian.

Experience with NIPRNET, SIPRNET, ICS, COMSEC, EMSEC, NexGen IT, BUILDER, PAVER, and SharePoint.
-
Current DoD information-assurance certification appropriate to assigned duties under DoD 8570.01-M requirements.
