Full job description

Description

We are immediately hiring an HR Generalist to support daily people operations and help create a welcoming, well-organized employee experience for a growing company in Fort Worth. This contract to permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing employee support, compliance, and administrative accuracy in a fast-moving environment. The role will contribute across onboarding, recruiting, records management, benefits coordination, payroll support, and bilingual HR communication in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees by preparing documents, guiding employees through required steps, and helping maintain a consistent introduction to the organization.

  • Maintain personnel files and HR records with a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and alignment with federal and state requirements.

  • Process employee updates such as status changes, job changes, and other personnel actions while ensuring documentation is complete and current.

  • Respond to employee questions related to HR forms, verification requests, workplace policies, and general employment matters.

  • Assist with health and supplemental benefit administration, including enrollments, qualifying life event changes, and employee support during open enrollment periods.

  • Work with insurance carriers and internal partners to address benefits issues and help ensure timely resolution of coverage-related concerns.

  • Gather and review payroll-related information, including time records and pay adjustments, to support accurate and timely payroll processing.

  • Partner with payroll and finance contacts to investigate discrepancies and help maintain compliance with pay practices and recordkeeping standards.

  • Contribute to the development and upkeep of HR materials by drafting and refining job descriptions and helping review handbooks, policies, and procedures.

  • Provide bilingual HR support in English and Spanish, including verbal communication and translation of employee-facing documents and announcements.

Requirements • 3+ years of experience in human resources, including work in a generalist, coordinator, or closely related HR support role.

  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish with the ability to communicate clearly with a diverse workforce.

  • Working knowledge of onboarding practices, employee documentation, benefits administration, and payroll support activities.

  • Familiarity with HR compliance requirements and the handling of confidential employee information.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately in a fast-paced setting.

  • Effective interpersonal and customer-service skills with a detail-focused, approachable style.

  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and comfort using payroll systems; experience with employee relations and HR administration is preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. TalentMatch®
