Facility: Brunswick Endoscopy Center - 13 Medical Campus Drive Supply, North Carolina 28462 | Location: Supply, NC | Position Type: Part-Time | Work Schedule: 7am start time - 2 days a week. Typical end time by 5pm.
What You'll Do
-
Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies, EGDs, bronchoscopies, and other diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.

Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient patient care and workflow.

Clean, disinfect, and maintain endoscopic equipment according to infection prevention and regulatory standards.

Perform leak testing, high-level disinfection, and proper storage of endoscopes.
What We're Looking For

Education : High School Diploma or GED, required.

Experience : Two years endoscopy experience, preferred.

Licensure/Certification: Endoscopy Technician Certification, preferred. Endoscopy Technician Certification within one year of hire, preferred.

Additional Skills (required): Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient's age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs.

Additional Skills (preferred): Knowledge of medical terminology.
