Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN)

Setting: Healthcare Facilities

Job Type: Contract - Full Time

Pay: $65 / Hour

Hours: 40.00

Location: Escondido, CA

RN Psychiatric

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - IDD

Pay:$60-65

Location: Escondido, California

Setting: Enhanced Behavioral Support Homes (EBSH) / Residential Services

Contract Length: 17 Weeks

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM 40 Hours/Week

Job Overview

RN will provide nursing oversight and medical support for adults with developmental disabilities residing in Enhanced Behavioral Support Homes (EBSH). This role requires a highly organized nurse who can work independently while supporting multiple residential homes.

Key Responsibilities

Medication management and MAR audits
Review and implementation of physician orders
Coordination of medical appointments and follow-up care
Review hospital discharge instructions and ensure implementation
Complete nursing assessments and maintain documentation in Avatar
Monitor residents for changes in condition
Update nursing care plans as needed
Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, and healthcare providers
Train and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and nursing policies

Ideal Candidate

RN with experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral health populations
Strong documentation skills
Comfortable working autonomously across multiple residential locations
Detail-oriented and proactive
Experience with medication management and regulatory compliance preferred
