Your Impact

The primary purpose of the role is to lead a team ensuring that Lowe's installation Services overall including labor installations and Provider Network are in compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Additionally, this role supports cross functional compliance requirements for all in-home activities including Red Vest and Third Party delivery. This includes responsibility to ensure that provider applications and insurance requirements are met, continuous improvements in process and analysis mitigating risk for the business via compliance, and overseeing and leading all aspects of communication to field store organizations. Additionally, responsible for alignment and prioritization of service portfolio ensuring regulatory compliance of programs and expectations can be met by the Services organization when recommended new programs are presented to be implemented.

What You Will Do

  • Lead a Corporate based and Field based team who regularly reviews and maintains an accurate account of license holders ensuring they meet federal, state and local requirements for Lowe’s to conduct installation business.

  • Conduct research and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure up-to-date understanding of regulatory requirements and changes.

  • Engage with cross functional teams (IT, IST, Field and Logistics) to assure that Lowe’s systems and processes meet federal, state, and local regulatory requirements

  • Collaborate with Claims, Regulatory, Litigation, or Risk teams on any litigation dealing with a service provided or a service provider. Review/document findings, identify appropriate departments to contact, and work with stakeholders on compliance resolution

  • Engage with federal, state, and local regulatory entities for positioning Lowe’s as a responsible and respected retail contractor by participating in negotiations, meetings, speaking engagements and conferences

  • Oversee process and execution of all certification, license requirements, exams of Lowe’s License Holders

  • Ensure EPA compliance on the federal, state, and local for any service provided by Lowe's. Document/review all EPA complaints and develops reports of findings and recommended resolution to senior leadership.

  • Partner with legal to ensure the language and terms used in contracts are in compliance and identifies legislation that may affect future compliance requirements. Develop processes and systems to meet these requirements and provide documentation of changes.

  • Ensure all Customer, Provider and Lowe’s contracts relative to Services are maintained, executed and in compliance through all selling channels.

  • Lead team to support timely processing of provider applications and insurance including renewals to ensure there is no disruption to business because of a lapse or expiration of certificates.

  • Work with organization to identify legislation that may affect future compliance requirements or operational execution.

  • Lead team to review services portfolio, identifies contribution of program and makes recommendations to Services leadership relative to regulatory requirements and compliance to continue or remove a program.

  • Manage team to deliver stated goals, enable collaboration, and build skills sets.

  • Communicate current processes and systems to Lowe's stakeholders and installation groups ensuring compliance mitigating risk.

  • Provide services compliance insights for future strategies and omni-channel solutions to ensure all future capabilities and enhancements will meet all compliance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable

  • 11 years Experience in a services, compliance, or equivalent environment including leadership

  • 8 years Merchandising/store operations

Preferred Skills/Education

  • Master’s degree MBA or equivalent work experience

  • 3 year Experience in merchandising/store operations- Knowledge of Lowe's merchandising system- High degree of familiarity with the retail industry, preferably the home improvement sector
