Full job description

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done. We are seeking an experienced Immigration Partner with a background in both global and U.S. immigration (with primary U.S. focus). In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential support to internal teams in navigating global immigration processes. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing end-to-end immigration cases, managing process operations, and serving as a subject matter expert on immigration regulations. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting the company's expansion efforts by addressing the evolving needs of the business. Your role will require you to handle complex immigration cases, both independently and collaboratively, particularly in uncertain situations. Strong problem-solving skills and expertise in immigration will be essential for success in this role. Ultimately, your experience and guidance will be critical in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's immigration initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overseeing the U.S. and global immigration function for 1000+ employees and candidates, including driving day-to-day activities related to immigration case processing.

  • Partnering with Global Mobility leaders to help develop and implement global immigration policies, guidelines, and procedures that align with our organization's goals.

  • Providing training and communication materials to increase awareness of these policies, guidelines, and procedures.

  • Ensuring compliance with immigration regulations and other cross-border requirements.

  • Keeping a pulse on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our program.

  • Supporting internal stakeholders, including People Partners, Managers, and Talent Recruiters, and being a subject matter expert for candidates and employees.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of corporate U.S. immigration experience and working familiarity with global immigration in Canada, EMEA, and APAC regions (paralegal/law firm experience will not be considered).

  • Expert knowledge of U.S. immigration regulations and compliance.

  • Strong case management and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization, including global partners and senior stakeholders.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Strong vendor management experience.

  • Ability to work in a hyper-growth environment.

  • Technologically efficient in systems (Workday, Greenhouse, Google Suite, etc.)

  • Working knowledge of AI tools (Copilot, Claude, CoCo, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience, in a related field, preferred.

  • Experience working with international teams or in a multinational company.

  • Knowledge of global mobility technology solutions and platforms.

  • Immigration experience in high-tech.

If you're ready to take on this exciting challenge and help us shape the future of our global mobility and immigration initiatives, we want to hear from you!
