Responsibilities Relationship management of a commercial portfolio including the formulation and implementation of a plan for portfolio growth. Ultimately, the relationship manager will be expected to build a trusted, capable, and assured relationship with clients by having the capability and authority to provide financial solutions for life. Cross-sell other bank services by partnering with other areas of the bank to enhance the overall marketing effort of the corporation. Manage relationships and submit loan requests for underwriting and approval. Gather all pre-closing requirements, review commercial loan documentation, and attend loan settlements. Accountable for developing new prospects and obtaining new clients for Univest. Establish and negotiate within loan policy and procedure the terms under which credit will be extended to qualified customers including interest rate repayment method and collateral requirements.
