Radiology Technician – Fairton, NJ
Local Pay: $37.00/hour
(W2)

Shift Details:
-
7:00 am-3:30 pm, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch period
-
40 hrs / week
Radiology Technician Duties & Responsibilities:
-
Perform routine and portable radiographic procedures, including chest, bone, skull, and spine X-rays.
-
Independently select exposure factors, position patients, operate equipment, and obtain quality diagnostic images.
-
Review images for abnormalities and notify the Radiologist/referring Physician when additional views may be needed.
-
Receive and schedule radiology requests, maintain exam records, logs, requisitions, and labels.
-
Transmit, retrieve, prepare, and transport X-ray images/reports; scan results into BEMR.
-
Perform equipment quality assurance, daily maintenance, calibration checks, and report repair/supply needs.
-
Assist with patient flow, including vital signs, weight, and explaining procedures to reduce anxiety.
-
Maintain radiation safety, universal precautions, and infection-control standards.

Coordinate radiology records and communication between Radiologists and medical staff.

Assist with inspections, program reviews, and other duties within the Radiology Technician scope.
Minimum Qualifications:

Shall be fully licensed to perform radiological procedures by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.

Active State License.

Must have at least three or more years of experience
-
Must be Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified, in accordance with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Additional certifications may be required.

Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
