Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinic Director - Physical Therapist to lead our outpatient physical therapy and sports medicine clinic. This individual will serve as both a clinical leader and operational leader, helping drive exceptional patient care while supporting team development, clinic growth, and overall performance.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the physical therapy clinic to ensure an efficient, professional, and patient-centered environment.

Monitor clinic performance, productivity, scheduling, patient retention, and overall operational efficiency.

Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development for physical therapists, assistants, and support staff.

Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture.

Conduct or assist with staff meetings, performance reviews, training, and continuing education initiatives.

Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with sports-related injuries, orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions.

Support outreach, marketing, and community engagement initiatives designed to strengthen physician referrals and clinic visibility.
-
Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic, sports-related, post-operative, and neuromuscular conditions.
-
Provide high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy services, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and functional rehabilitation.

Maintain an appropriate clinical caseload while serving as a resource and mentor to other physical therapists and rehabilitation staff.

Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.

Monitor clinical quality and documentation standards throughout the clinic.
-
Stay current with advancements in physical therapy, sports medicine, healthcare regulations, and evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
Qualifications
-
Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
-
Licensure: Active Physical Therapy license in Virginia.
-
Experience:
-
3+ years of experience in outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, or a related physical therapy setting preferred.
-
Previous leadership, management, supervisory, or clinic director experience preferred.
-
Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop other clinicians.
-
Strong understanding of outpatient physical therapy operations and patient-centered care.
