Immerse yourself in a Monday-Friday Co-Op session, that will run from January to June (it is expected students will take this time off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).

This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

What You Will Learn:

• Use of commercial and in-house tools to perform different types of analysis (e.g. CFD) for the design or evaluation of some of our engine components.

• Understand some of the manufacturing processes used in the making of our engine components and the importance of quality compliance from an Aerodynamics perspective.

• Dive into our Knowledge Management System and how it applies to the development of our products.

• Prepare and present technical presentations.

What You Will Do:

• Perform aerothermal services ensuring on-time delivery and technical quality required of work performed.

• Perform low to medium complexity steady state and transient performance comparison packages which can include data vs. simulation, model to model, control to control, and engine to engine.

• Attend and have participation in group meetings, teleconferences and/or trainings required.

• English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

• Minimum GPA of 3.0

• Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
