The Six Flags Fiesta Texas Entertainment Department is now casting professional performers (Singers/ Dancers/ Musicians) for our upcoming Holiday in the Park shows.  We are seeking experienced vocalists with dance experience; a musical theatre background is a plus.

UPCOMING AUDITION DATES:

• Saturday , October 10 th , ** ** between 10:00a m and 12 :00pm

Auditions will be held at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in the Entertainment Rehearsal Hall.  Arrive any time between 9:45am and 11:45am. Parking for applicants is available in the Employee Parking Lot.  Once parked, please sign in and enter through the Security Ranger Station.  They will direct you to the audition location.  For more information, please contact the Entertainment Office at (210) 697-5583 or email [email protected] .

Responsibilities:

Singers :  Please have 2-3 contrasting song selections ready.  No more than 32 bars of a selected song (preferably one up-tempo, one ballad, & if possible, one musical theater style selection).

Dancers : Please prepare a short dance routine (up to 30 seconds) that showcases your skills.  You may be asked to sing.

PLEASE NOTE : We will provide an accompanist for those who would like to use sheet music, or you can bring a phone (iPhone/android) with an accompaniment track to play.  Please bring any necessary phone adapters if needed.  Please no Acapella singing.

You may be asked to participate in a callback **the SAME DAY as your audition. *Callbacks may include singing, dancing, and character work. **

Qualifications:

• Auditions required.

• Outgoing and Friendly personality highly recommended.

• Dance experience/ skills and ability are recommended.

• Willing to actively engage guests and be knowledgeable about park events.

• If applicable, must be able to perform in 15-30 lb. costume.

• Must be at least 16 years old. Some roles require applicants to be at least 18 years of age at time of hire.

• If applicable, must meet standards (height/build/look) as set forth by WB/DC Comics.

• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, climb stairs, bend, reach & lift up to 30 lbs.

• Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties.

• Must be able to work in all weather conditions even in costume.

• Must be available to work weekends, evenings and holidays.

• Prior experience in public performance or public speaking preferred but not necessary.
