Full job description
JOB TITLE: Licensed Practical Nurse DEPARTMENT: Nursing SUPERVISOR: Registered Professional Nurse AREA OF SUPERVISION: Responsible for supervision of direct care staff and supervision of other Licensed Practical Nurses when in the Charge Nurse position. JOB SUMMARY: To provide direct resident care under supervision of RN, while adhering to each individual residents plan of care and to ensure provision of care for all residents during shift while acting as charge nurse. Reports all cases of alleged violations involving mistreatment, neglect, or abuse, including injuries of unknown sources. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure by the State Board of Nursing. Pay Period: Bi-Weekly. Total Hours Per Week: 37.5. Physical Exam: Yes. Must Join Union: Yes.
