We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to support essential diagnostic imaging procedures for a diverse range of small, large, and exotic animal patients. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Operate stationary and portable X-ray equipment. Perform diagnostic X-rays on small, large, and exotic animal patients. Perform cross-sectional imaging, including CT and/or MRI. Assist with patient care throughout diagnostic imaging procedures. Select and adjust appropriate equipment settings. Assist with equipment troubleshooting and ensure imaging equipment is functioning properly. This is full-time, 100% FTE position (40 hours per week). The anticipated schedule for this position is: Primarily Monday-Friday, with scheduled hours between 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., 30-minute unpaid lunch. Two weekend days per month are required, with Saturday or Sunday hours between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Weekday schedules will be adjusted during weeks when weekend coverage is scheduled. Schedules are finalized at least two weeks in advance. Key Job Responsibilities: Processes images, film, and/or other scanning documentation in accordance to guidelines and photographic technique. Performs quality control activities to ensure optimal quality radiographs (5%) Perform fluoroscopy exams and mobile x-ray on patients as needed (10%) Troubleshoots and reports equipment problems to supervisor (5%) Performs radiologic procedures as assigned adhering to prescribed techniques (5%) Follows prescribed techniques in administering general and specific x-rays, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), or other radiologic scanning procedures.
