Compensation: $108,000 to $113,000 salary, health/dental benefits, 401k, PTO, etc.

Eligibility/Clearance: Secret Clearance Required. Must be a US Citizen, this position supports a government contract

Job Description:

As a Salesforce Business Analyst supporting CMS, you will be trusted to work hand-in-hand with our CMS customer collecting business requirements and system documentation supporting business and IT activities supporting Marketplace initiatives.

Our work depends on a Salesforce Business Analyst joining our team to support Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) activities.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Analyze, document and communicate system and business processes

• Ensuring that user stories include validation criteria which reasonably cover all areas necessary for complete testing of the new functionality

• Breaking down roadmaps into epics and decomposing epics into user stories

• Verifying completion of requirements with customer and service providers, ensuring expectations are appropriately met

• Listing out risks and constraints in relation to identified requirements

• Documenting functional, nonfunctional, and operational requirements specifications

• Providing technical review and validation of requirements as necessary

• Documenting workflows and processes based on business requirements

• Supporting the collection and reporting of requirements related metrics

• Providing additional support and guidance to the project team during the implementation phase, to include development of training resources

• Researching, reviewing, and analyzing the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements gathering processes and developing strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes

• May coach and mentor other Business Analysts.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience working with business processes, re-engineering, and capturing requirements

• 3+ years of experience capturing and writing user stories

• 3+ or more years of business processes and business analysis experience in a system engineering or software application environment

• Experience working with custom Salesforce solutions

• In depth understanding of Salesforce, including Service Cloud, Experience Cloud (Portals), LWC, and Aura

• Experience using JIRA, SharePoint and Confluence

• Proficient using MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Understanding of custom coded Salesforce vernacular and processes

• Experience working in a Scrum or SAFe Agile environment

• Ability to understand and document customer business requirements.

• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with customers and internal cross-functional teams

• Self-motivated, well-organized and strict attention to details

• Superior written and oral communication skills

• Ability to understand and manage customer expectations and software implementation methodology

• Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at the same time

• Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to integrate information from multiple sources

• Ability to work independently and interact regularly with government and non-government stakeholders at multiple levels of authority

• Must have the capacity to understand the QA processes and work in the software environment

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

• Preferred: Possess Valid Salesforce certification, such as Salesforce Business Analyst (preferred), Salesforce Certified Administrator, or Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant –Salesforce certification will be verified on Trailhead
