Do you enjoy solving analytical challenges, working in a team environment, and generating high-quality scientific data? Eurofins BPT-Columbia is seeking an Entry Level Analytical Scientist to join our growing Biochemistry team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or a related scientific discipline who are eager to develop their technical skills in a regulated laboratory environment. In this role, you'll gain exposure to analytical testing techniques, regulatory laboratory practices, and industry-standard instrumentation while contributing to work that supports the development and safety of products that improve lives around the world. What You'll Do
- Perform laboratory testing following established methods, protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Generate, review, and document scientific data in accordance with GMP and GLP requirements
- Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation, including HPLC and GC systems
- Prepare samples, reagents, standards, and laboratory solutions
- Accurately record observations and experimental results
- Support ongoing studies and projects by following established procedures and timelines
- Collaborate with scientists and laboratory teams to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency
- Contribute to a safe, organized, and compliant laboratory environment
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or another related scientific discipline
- Ability to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Academic or industry experience with HPLC, GC, or other analytical instrumentation
- Exposure to GLP, GMP, or regulated laboratory environments
- Familiarity with LIMS or electronic laboratory documentation systems
- Laboratory coursework, internships, undergraduate research, or industry experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn new techniques and follow detailed procedures

Position is full-time position, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Columbia, MO are encouraged to apply.
