Phlebotomist – Fairton, NJ
Local Pay: $22.00/hour

Shift Details:
-
7:00 am-3:30 pm, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch period
-
40 hrs / week
Phlebotomist Duties & Responsibilities:
-
Assist physicians, PAs, and nurses with patient flow, including vital signs, weight, and BEMR documentation.
-
Schedule and perform laboratory testing, specimen collection, processing, and in-processing requirements, including DNA testing, vaccines, and PPD updates.
-
Properly package, transport, document, and track specimens according to laboratory procedures.

Ensure lab requests and reports are complete, returned, documented, filed/scanned, and communicated to providers.
-
Maintain laboratory procedures, equipment, supplies, and required records in compliance with CLIA and applicable standards.

Coordinate with BOP and contract reference laboratories and assist with CLIA recertification.

Support implementation of laboratory policies and procedures while maintaining compliance with AAAHC standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Valid certification to practice in the state of New Jersey as a Medical Assistant, Laboratory Must be Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified, in accordance with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Shall provide a resume and requested documentation along with copy of all diplomas and/or certificates to support stated qualification.

Three (3) letters of reference

Additional certifications may be required.

Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
