Position: Sr Manager, Operations - AMZ14037.9

Location: Deltona, FL

Multiple Positions Available:

  • Drives creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives and other Lean initiatives to enable their functional area and ultimately the FC to meet and exceed business plan.

  • Responsible for the overall safety, quality and performance and customer experience of either Inbound or Outbound operations.

  • Will set and clarify requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers. Measures performance, provides feedback, and holds Ops Managers accountable for their performance and the performance of their departments.

  • Leverages the Operations and Area Managers by sourcing and nurturing ideas, and rolling them into the creation of improvement plans for the functional area.

  • Takes proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across all departments, shifts and among the network.

  • Works closely with support staff (HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and other Sr. Operations Managers) to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives in their area, as well as providing needed support and resources for other staff initiatives.

(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $145995 - $182700)

Basic Qualifications

A Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or related discipline and 1 year of experience in job offered,

management consulting, technical management, or logistics engineering.

In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or related discipline followed

by 5 progressively responsible years of experience in job offered, management consulting, technical management, or logistics engineering.

Experience must include:

  1. 1 year of management experience (salaried workforce or program management) in a global supply chain, manufacturing, production/procurement, distribution, logistics or related

environment/operations.

  1. 1 year of experience using lean process improvement, six sigma methodologies or related performance metrics/process improvements to increase efficiency within processes,

forecasting, planning, optimization, and logistics.

  1. 1 year of cross-functional coordination experience across different business units and experience conducting qualitative/quantitative data analysis to support business decision making

and cross functional initiatives.
