Job Description
This role is responsible for leading and coordinating the start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment at customer sites, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and outstanding issues are resolved efficiently. The position provides daily supervision, training, and mentorship to field service technicians while serving as the primary technical resource for product expertise and advanced problem-solving. Responsibilities include overseeing site commissioning activities, managing punch list completion and project closeout documentation, identifying and escalating project risks, and ensuring technicians have the necessary tools, materials, and resources to perform their work effectively. The role also collaborates with project management, engineering, production, operations, and administrative teams to address quality concerns, coordinate service resources, support testing and training activities, and ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support field service operations.
Pay Ranges from $60.00/hr-$66.00/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings, paid leave as provided by applicable law
Skills and Requirements

Associate degree, vocational training, military experience, or equivalent experience in power distribution systems, including switchgear, UPS, generators, PDUs, or related equipment commissioning activities.

Minimum of 2 years of field service experience, with an emphasis on start-up and commissioning of electrical equipment.

Experience with switchgear, electrical distribution systems, and electrical control systems preferred.

Familiarity with advanced communication protocols and networking concepts preferred.

Prior supervisory or lead-level experience preferred.

Understanding of lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures involving multiple power sources required. experience working in critical infrastructure environments (data center, hospital, water treatment plant)
