Description

As the Senior Director, Business Reinvention for Auto Claims in USRM, you will own the results of the Auto Claims human-centered, AI transformation. You will serve as the transformation lead for a cross-functional team of partners. This is an individual contributor role that leads through influencing and driving outcomes. You will set direction and priorities, make key decisions, strengthen cross-functional partnerships, and be accountable for delivering outcomes for our customers, our employees, and our business. This role reports directly to the SVP of USRM Auto Physical Damage Claims.

Responsibilities:

  • Owns the results of the Auto Claims AI transformation, including delivery of committed capabilities and realization of accuracy, care, ease, and speed (ACES) outcomes.

  • Represents the transformation with senior Claims & Service and USRM leadership, communicating progress, risks, and trade-offs transparently.

  • Sets the goals, priorities, and operating principles for the transformation. Makes the decisions that move the work forward, including prioritization, sequencing, trade-offs, and resource allocation.

  • Partners closely with the Claims & Service AI Quarterback to frame major decisions, maintaining alignment with the broader Claims & Service, and USRM priorities.

  • Creates a culture of experimentation, speed, and accountability within the core team.

  • Partners with Field Operations and enabling partners to build the change and deployment approach for developed capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Recent relevant experience and expertise in Auto Claims, including leading a significant Auto Claims operation.

  • Demonstrated results through leading complex, cross-functional work and delivering measurable business results.

  • Proven track record as an entrepreneurial change leader who can deliver results across competing priorities.

  • Ability to make decisions with incomplete or ambiguous information, adapt quickly as conditions change, and hold others accountable for outcomes.

  • Ability to influence, build partnerships, and communicate with senior leaders across Claims & Service and USRM.

  • Deep knowledge of claims operations, insurance regulations, and supporting systems, typically acquired through a bachelor's degree and 10+ years of progressively responsible experience.

  • Ability to travel as needed, up to 25%.
