This position requires at a minimum one 8 hour shifts every week. There is potential to work up to part time hours when needed, and available. Please note that you would need to be able to train at a minimum of part time hours for the initial 4-8 weeks.

About the Practice

The 2 clinic locations, Blodgett and East Beltline, provide multiple non-oncology infusions and injections. Nurses provide the care given in these clinics with the assistance of nurse technicians. This office has a welcoming atmosphere where strong teamwork is encouraged. We lean on one another to provider exceptional care for our patients. Staff work together daily to ensure that the clinic runs as smoothly as possible.

About Outpatient Clinics

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Scope of work

Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN) in the examination and treatment of patients to facilitate clinic flow and provide excellent patient care. Performs basic skills per department guidelines and policies; communicate observations to members of the health care team.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required

  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
