Full job description

About Sleeper Sleeper is a sports-focused games platform with messaging at its core. We are a young and energetic company, fueled by a passion for sports and a drive for innovation. Our mission is to create a digital playground for sports fans and their friends to hang out. We bring people together over sports.

About the Role Sleeper is looking for a reliable, organized, and resourceful Part-Time Workplace & Operations Coordinator to support our Las Vegas office, CEO, and broader team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys keeping things organized, taking ownership of details, and making sure employees have what they need to do their best work. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, trustworthy, and comfortable managing a wide variety of administrative, operational, travel, and logistical responsibilities. No two weeks will necessarily look the same, so flexibility, good judgment, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed are important.

What You’ll Do Workplace & Administrative Support

  • Manage office supplies and inventory, including ordering and restocking office essentials.

  • Coordinate the ordering, receiving, organizing, and distribution of company swag.

  • Print, prepare, organize, and assemble documents and other materials as needed.

  • Handle outgoing mail and packages, including preparing shipments and coordinating drop-offs and pickups.

  • Collect, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages at the Las Vegas office.

  • Run local errands for the CEO and other Las Vegas-based employees as needed.

  • Coordinate holiday and special-occasion gifts, including sourcing, ordering, packaging, and distribution.

  • Create and maintain spreadsheets for tracking office items, shipments, gifts, expenses, inventory, devices, travel, and other operational needs.

  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate, organized records.

  • Assist with purchases, pickups, deliveries, vendor coordination, and other local logistical needs.

  • Help maintain an organized, functional, welcoming, and well-stocked office environment.

Employee Travel & Events

  • Coordinate employee travel for company meetings, retreats, offsites, conferences, and other business-related trips.

  • Research and book flights, hotels, and ground transportation while balancing schedules, cost, and employee needs.

  • Research and coordinate restaurants, meals, catering, activities, entertainment, and other experiences for company trips and events.

  • Develop and distribute detailed trip agendas and itineraries covering travel, accommodations, transportation, meals, meetings, activities, and other scheduled events.

  • Track reservations, confirmations, attendee information, and travel-related expenses.

  • Assist with last-minute travel changes, cancellations, and other logistical issues as they arise.

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding travel and event logistics.

Company Device Management

  • Manage the inventory and lifecycle of company-issued devices and equipment.

  • Maintain accurate records of devices assigned to employees, including laptops and other company equipment.

  • Coordinate the preparation and shipment of devices to new employees as part of onboarding.

  • Track shipments and confirm employees receive the appropriate equipment.

  • Coordinate the return of company devices from departing employees, including providing return instructions, shipping labels, and packaging as needed.

  • Follow up on outstanding equipment returns and maintain accurate records of returned devices.

  • Coordinate the secure wiping and resetting of returned devices in accordance with company procedures.

  • Prepare and ship reassigned or replacement devices to employees as needed.

  • Maintain an organized inventory of available, assigned, returned, and retired company devices.

  • Coordinate with internal team members or external vendors regarding device setup, repair, replacement, or disposal when necessary.

General Operations

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the CEO and Las Vegas-based team.

  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding logistics.

  • Maintain organized records, spreadsheets, receipts, confirmations, and administrative documentation.

  • Identify opportunities to improve recurring administrative and operational processes.

  • Handle sensitive company and employee information with discretion and professionalism.

  • Take ownership of special projects and other administrative, workplace, and operational needs as they arise.

What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is dependable, resourceful, and comfortable working independently. You should be someone who notices what needs to be done, takes initiative, follows through, and enjoys bringing order to lots of moving pieces. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

  • A high level of reliability, discretion, and professionalism.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines without extensive oversight.

  • Strong follow-through and a sense of ownership over assigned responsibilities.

  • Comfort working with spreadsheets, data entry, shared documents, calendars, and common productivity tools such as Google Docs and Google Sheets.

  • Comfort researching and coordinating travel, accommodations, restaurants, activities, and other logistics.

  • Comfort managing physical inventory and maintaining accurate records of company equipment.

  • A willingness to handle both administrative work and hands-on tasks such as errands, shipping packages, organizing supplies, and coordinating deliveries.

  • Good judgment and the ability to handle confidential or sensitive information appropriately.

  • A positive, flexible, and solutions-oriented approach.

  • Reliable transportation and the ability to run errands throughout the Las Vegas area.

  • The ability to work on-site in Las Vegas on a part-time basis.

Nice to Have Previous experience in office management, administrative support, executive assistance, operations, travel coordination, event planning, hospitality, or a similar role is helpful but not required. Experience supporting executives, coordinating company travel or events, managing employee equipment, or working in a fast-moving startup or technology environment is also a plus.

Schedule This is a part-time, Las Vegas-based position that requires regular in-person availability. The schedule may vary based on office, travel (mostly across Las Vegas), and team needs, so flexibility is preferred. Occasional availability outside of a normal schedule may be needed to assist with time-sensitive travel changes, shipments, company events, or other operational needs.

Why Sleeper This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys being the person who keeps things moving behind the scenes. You’ll have ownership over a wide range of important detail, from workplace operations and employee travel to company equipment and special projects. You’ll play an important role in creating an organized, efficient, and enjoyable experience for employees while helping Sleeper’s day-to-day operations run smoothly. Sleeper is an equal opportunity employer. We value a diverse and inclusive workplace and encourage qualified candidates from all backgrounds to apply.

What we offer Sleeper believes in quality over quantity, and intentionally keeps our team small as a result. In past roles, we found it very hard to make a big impact when companies grow too large in size, which has a detrimental effect on the product and the impact any single individual can have. Our team includes designers, engineers, product experts, and finance & operation focused on one thing — connecting people over sports. We believe in fair and equitable pay. Certain locations in the United States require job postings to include a reasonable estimate of the base wage range and/or a general description of benefits and other compensation applicable to the role. For this role, the pay rate is $18.50 per hour. Benefits are not provided during the internship period. Sick time is provided. The policy of Sleeper is to provide equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, citizenship status, age, national origin, ancestry, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status and to affirmatively seek to advance the principles of equal employment opportunity. Sleeper is committed to being an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers opportunities to all job seekers, including job seekers with disabilities. If you are a qualified individual with a disability or a disabled veteran, you may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Company’s career webpage as a result of your disability. You may request reasonable accommodations by sending an email to [email protected].
