New, increased salary! We are seeking Preschool Assistant Teachers to join our organization! These individuals will work with children ages 3-5. School year schedule. Responsibilities: - Assist classroom teacher in implementing curriculum. Assist with classroom management. - Participate in assessing child development and progress. - Maintain safe, sanitary classroom. Follow licensing and Head Start regulations. - Work cooperatively with other teaching staff and providers. - Build relationships with families. Participate in parent-teacher conferences and home visits. Qualifications: - Love working with 3- to 5-year-old children! Lots of creativity and patience! - Minimum of Child Development Associate (CDA) or related coursework/credential. - Experience is a plus. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
