REMOTE Senior Consultant- Legal GenAI

Job Description

A client of Insight Globla is looking for a senior consultant to join their team. The team works with legal professionals around the world to support generative AI selection, implementation, and adoption. You will work directly with experienced consultants on client engagements covering AI readiness, tool selection, prompt design, process redesign, and the operating model changes needed to make GenAI actually work inside a legal team. A key focus is our Immersive Workshops, which give clients hands-on experience with AI under the guidance of the team. This role carries real responsibility. You will manage your own deliverables, work directly with senior client stakeholders, and help shape how the practice grows. You will also mentor junior consultants and contribute to proposals and thought leadership.

Skills and Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in legal consulting, legal operations, or legal technology. Backgrounds in finance, technology, or data are also welcome where the candidate has worked closely with legal teams.
• A degree in law, finance, information technology, data science, or a related field.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience with GenAI tools, ideally in a legal or professional services context. You should be able to talk credibly about what works, what does not, and why.
• Strong written and spoken English. You can structure a complex problem on a page and explain it clearly to both lawyers and technologists.
• Confident managing your own workstream, your own time, and your own deliverables, with appropriate oversight from the engagement lead.
• Comfortable in front of senior stakeholders, including General Counsels, Heads of Legal Operations, and law firm partners.
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint). Familiarity with contract lifecycle management and legal operations tools is an advantage.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
