As a Workers’ Compensation Specialist, you will support the administration of our workers’ compensation programs while partnering closely with employees, leaders, medical providers, and insurance partners to ensure timely claim resolution and successful return-to-work outcomes.

What You'll Do:

  • Administer workers’ compensation claims, ensuring timely, cost-effective claim management and resolution.

  • Partner with insurance carriers, adjusters, medical providers, employees, Safety, HR, and Operations teams throughout the claims process.

  • Track, manage, and document claims using case management systems and support system enhancements and testing activities.

  • Coordinate return-to-work plans, monitor claim progress, and communicate case status with leaders and employees.

  • Support claim investigations, rehabilitation efforts, loss prevention initiatives, and documentation requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with workers’ compensation regulations, ADA requirements, leave laws, and company policies.

  • Prepare reports and analyze claims and safety-related data, including OSHA reporting requirements.

  • Negotiate and document moderately complex claims within established authority guidelines.

  • Promote a culture consistent with the Company's values, ethics, and standards of conduct.

What You'll Bring:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • years of experience in workers’ compensation, disability management, leave administration, human resources, safety, insurance, or a related field.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.

  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.

  • Workers’ Compensation Claim Law Specialist certification, or progress toward certification, preferred.

What We Offer:

The base salary range for this position is $48,000 - $80,000 annually with eligibility for a 5% annual incentive bonus, which is based on organizational performance. The salary range represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
